Good location. Nice hotel, not too fancy, it’s okay.

Rooms are a little bit small. Noisy, you could here everything happening outside or even on corridors.

Our room was really huge with balcony and the view was perfect.

I had a nice stay at Matilda Boutique Hotel & Spa, and it’s a good option for those wanting to explore Hanoi. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the Old Quarter, a vibrant area surrounded by shops and plenty of delicious food options. It’s just a short and easy walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, which is a highlight of Hanoi. The room was adequate for the price, not too spacious but certainly sufficient. The bathroom floor was a bit slippery, so I would advise being careful when showering. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was a lifesaver in Hanoi’s hot weather, and the Wi-Fi was reliable throughout my stay. Another strong point is that the hotel offered luggage storage even after we checked out, which was incredibly convenient for us.Overall, Matilda Boutique Hotel & Spa is a great choice for its prime location, comfort, and helpful services. With some small improvements in hospitality, it could be even better!

I did notice that the staff at the reception and dining area could be a bit more welcoming. They seemed a bit less smiley, and I think a touch of extra warmth in their service could improve the experience for guests.

Even though in the city centre of Hanoi, it was quiet. The bed was very big and comfortable. The staff at the front desk was very friendly.

Perfect location and lovely quiet rooms at the back of the hotel ensured the best night sleep we had for a while in hanoi. Staff were excellent

The breakfast is sufficient. The coffee is good and the food choices are both western and Asian.

There was no help to arrange onward travel or tours. Fortunately there were many tour operators in the vicinity who were more than willing to help.

The room was absolutely amazing and the staff were very helpful! Especially the lovely man at breakfast who went out of his way to explain everything and also recommend some ways to help my friend recover from food poisoning.

The customer service was excellent, the receptionist on nigh duty(sadly didn't get his name) was very accommodating and helpful with directions and recommendations.. The breakfast buffet was nice, the facilities are clean and they have a in-house spa! Also they have an elavator so it wasn't hard to move our luggages!

This place is fantastic, the concierge was so helpful, they help me book taxis trips and checked everything was ok with me which is very much appreciated as a solo traveller. The location is excellent, rooms very clean and breakfast was more than I expected. Thanks so much to everyone at the hotel

Location: Excellent, right on the doorstep of everything. Room is sizeable. Very comfy bed and pillows. Great shower, they even supply quality toilet roll… genuinely.

Breakfast is alright, however not enough tables. Also an unsavoury incident occurred: Two guests had too much leftovers (breakfast is a buffet) The male staff member then openly complained to them, including taking photos of the food wastage. Whilst he was kind of correct, they should not have taken so much food if not going to finish it all. The staff member probably could have handled it better.

Good location at the edge of Old quarter, well accessible by cars.Nice breakfast if you come early, otherwise nothing is refilled.Room was spacious and clean enough.

Executive room has no windows, and it wasn't mentioned in the description.In my opinion it's overpriced, as I stayed in less expensive hotels with better conditions.

The location was great but very noisy.

The room showed clear signs of water damage and mold (room 502), the shower wasn't sealed and leaked onto the bathroom floor. The drinking water was clearly re-bottled. Everything creaked and felt cheap. Rooms lacked soundproofing. Breakfast was lackluster.

I was expecting to see the outside from the window. There was one window that shows inside of hotel. My window was facing the elevator door! Who wants to open the curtain to that? Basically, the room had no natural light. Walls had not much decoration. Also the color was on the dark side.
